Inauguration of Student Council and Association 2024 – 25

The Inauguration of Student Council and Association heads for the academic year 2024-25 was held on Friday 23rd August 2024. The program began with prayer led by college choir team. Dr Hariprasad S, Asst. Professor, Head, Department of Commerce, Govt. First Grade College, Uppinangady was the inaugurator of the program Rev. Vijay Harwin, correspondent Sudana Institution, Presided over the Program. Dr Peter Wilson Prabhakar, Correspondent, Sudana PU College. Mr Oscar Anand, Treasurer Sudana Institution. Mr. Supreeth KC, Principal, Mr. Mukundakrishna, Student Welfare Officer and student leaders were present on the dais. Dignitaries inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Principal administered the Oath to the College President, Mr Vedvrath Bhandary and the other office bearers of the student Council. The Inaugurator in his message said Leadership and Excellence is a part of the journey of a Students Life. Every student needs to have a vision and mission and strive towards excellence in order to become ambassadors of the institution. As leaders there is need to be a balance between students and faculty in order to have a vigorous and healthy atmosphere. The correspondent in his presidential message emphasised that Leader is the one who serves and should not only be representatives who live up to the faith and trust laid on them but also should be the channel who will be a bridge between the management and student community and serve the community in a better manner. College President, Mr. Vedvrath Bhandary, welcomed the dignitaries and Joint Secretary Ms. Jia Sweedol introduced the Inaugurator. Secretary, Mohammad Nihal proposed the vote of thanks.
